Actress Pratyusha Banerjee, of Balika Vadhu fame commited suicide on Friday .
Actress Pratusha Banerjee, known for her portrayal of Anandi in the television show Balika Vadhu, committed suicide on Friday.
The 24 year old actress had attempted suicide in her house earlier on Friday by hanging herself.She was rushed to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai's suburan Andheri where she was pronounced dead.
Banerjee, who rose to fame with her performance as Anandi was also part of shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Bigg Boss 7 and Comedy Clasess.
She was dating actor Rahul Raj Singh and they were reportedly supposed to get married later this year.
They two had appeared on the recently - concluded reality show Power Couple, ho.sted by Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora.
